It is a nonsense story, why would Chambers leave Southampton who are likely to be a month away from promotion to the Premier League, to goto Fulham?
Cortese has stated he intends to get the Saints XI in the Premier League packed full of their own academy products. He clearly has high ambitions and lots of resources given the state of the art training ground currently under construction. He won't be selling Chambers any time soon, especially given the club is on the verge of the Premier League.

2 goals in 3 games for england u17- against france and holland, and was being played on the wing. i believe he has only been with us for 18 months or so, came to the club because of its rep- so no way is he going anywhere. within 2 years him,luke shaw, jwp, jack stephens and corby moore will be pushing for the first team- maybe a few others as well. the only problem is that our youngsters are fairly small in stature, but they play on the ground so not the end of the world
They may be small at present but there is still time for them to muscle up and we can reinforce the team with any required beef as and when decided it is needed.
Why woulf a youngster leave the best academy in the uk To a team in potentially same league.. Non starter...
On a side note to all other prem teams.. Bring up your own ****ing talent, we dont spend millions on infrastructure n coaches for them to get poached!!! Makes my blood boil

Doesn't make mine boil because it is just another sign that we have a damn good academy in place and it is still being improved upon.

This guy is not going anywhere. Why would he move to Arsenal when he hasn't been here that long?! Also why would Arsenal pay the asking price, likely 5-7 million, for somebody who has never played 1st team football?
I rode past Staplewood just last Thursday, on the way to Applemore, and even though I was standing up on the footrests, I couldn't see any state of the art building work, or even the begininning of such a thing. Of course, I was looking through the trees, but they don't have the leaves on, so I could see plenty; but no building. I did see temporary buildings though..!
