To clarify, I was banned from FootyMad for having "multiple accounts", which I'm presuming came from me living in student halls at the time and sharing my IP with about 300 other students. Though coincidentally (or not) I got banned the same day we loaned Bullard to Ipswich, so it may have just been an excuse to ban me because they thought I was a ****.
I loved his music, I love his passion for science, and I love his fringe. What's not to love? Everyone needs to sample the delights of Cox at some point, don't knock it til you've tried it. He teaches us stuff in simple terms about the world we live in and other planets nearby. I mean, how big is Uranus CG? ****ing hell, that gets me every time. On topic, this YannickSagbo, slightly annoying but not sure why he warrants this concerted campaign. I've not seen anything offensive from him, he's not Agron or Erik, both of which are more deserved of having the internet removed from them let alone a forum ban but they're just allowed to carry on. Sad times.

A sad day for me. The very first post I ever had on an internet forum was in reply to you in the days when my husband posted on there.I was defending rugby league and you even asked me for a photograph! You certainly livened the site up.
Yep got myself Banned from FM (well asked then wrote crap then got banned) Same **** on that site probably as there is on here,(wait they do politics and religion)thats why i dont interact as much, best to just read, dont remember must Mod Interaction but could be wrong!
If you mean the ability to 'view other users with this IP' and vice versa, I know how to do that. If it's something else then yes please! Cheers either way
Separate to the fact he's been banned. If we're going to ban an account on the grounds of it being a previously banned user then the evidence available to us as mods has to point at them being the same person. Tubby doesn't have a monopoly on being a twat so unless it's changed since I was on last Thursday the evidence points in the opposite direction in the case of yannicksagbo/tubby. I'm not going into how I've worked that out on here as I'd rather keep it between the mods how we/I can identify multiple accounts or rule out links (we have our own forum for discussing that kind of thing), otherwise when people want to do it they'll know how to cover their tracks better. At the moment the way people around the site are trying to cover their tracks is actually doing more to draw attention to them being another user. In terms of the history on here with multiple posters we've only had a 2 or 3 times it's come up, other than the obvious spammers and site banners who reregister (none of the regulars being our users to start with). There was the Millwall thing where people elsewhere decided that a matching IP meant it most be the same person and made it public. Closer inspection showed it wasn't that clear cut and the users' registration details supported their version of events. There was also a case of someone using multiple accounts across different parts of the site to try to get access to things they weren't going to get using their main account. That's a large part of what has prompted the supermods/admin to require their approval before a new mod is appointed. Prior to that we'd as a forum just put someone forward and they'd be accepted, now there's certain guidelines that the potential mods have to meet. Then there's Tubby.
So how many accounts do mods have? Just asking as when Craig wanted a pole to to de·throne DMD they was some 2nd, 3rd accounts going on! If were going to be fair......But i guess you could use VPN!
Mods have one account. To use more to try to fudge the vote would be as pointless as the baseless allegations on that poll.

It's not as easy as you'd think, as ordinary mods we don't have full access to all the information the site holds about people. I've never done anything to artificially change my IPA and I only have one account on here (although all the mods on this section also have access to the HC Moderator account which I've used a few times when I don't want to log in and mark all the posts as read). On this site I still had at last check over 200 addresses linked to my account, which when you do the geographical traces have me anywhere from Plymouth through to Sheffield, Edinburgh, Dunfermline, and Aberdeen (and that's all results when I've checked my IP at home). I have them shared with people right through from Mick (the site owner who lives in Malta) to serial spammers who are site banned for posts they've made elsewhere. Telling whether a new account with 2 or 3 posts was me or not would be almost impossible, there's too much possibility for coincidence to be the reason for the match. Hull being a karoo stronghold gives us on this section a particular headache with differentiating things as well. Most of the IPs we check have a minimum of 5 or 6 matches, and each (reasonably regularly posting) account will have 5 or more IPAs attached to it. The problem is that rather than it being the same 5 or 6 accounts on all 5 IPAs you end up with 15-20 accounts being linked because they've shared the IP address around over time, and then each of those links in another 5 or 10. Unless there's only about 3 of us on here the individual IPs are next to useless for confirming a match. Obviously BT, Sky etc do this as well, but their users are spread over the country so you might get a Man U fan, a Chelsea fan, a Liverpool fan and a couple of brothers who support Villa and Birmingham sharing an IP. Karoo being only really in Hull means for Hull City fans there's only really Karoo IPs, and for Karoo IPs there's only really Hull City fans, obvious exceptions being exiled fans show with other IPs. We do have ways of going beyond the basic check, but it's more time consuming and I'd rather not say how as it's one of the ways I don't want to reveal as it will affect posting habits if people know. We can also refer things to the supermods if we don't have the tools to check things for ourselves, but I don't know what they can check. (I know it's more than us, I just don't want to know exactly what in case I let slip something I shouldn't) Obviously there's extra things we can do that make it easier than I've just made it sound, but I think there's people (in general) who think all we need to do is look at a new poster's IP address and that if it matches with anybody then it must be them. Just going back to Yannicksagbo and the claim he was Tubby (I still haven't gone through my messages for updates), up to last Thursday night there wasn't a single IP match, not even the same ISP never mind the same address. There were however at least 2 other accounts posting on here that had more than 5 IP address matches with Tubby, and there's never been any suggestion from users that they think either of those two users has been Tubby.
Matters not, but I suspect the users Pearson Park and markkc as being the same user as the one known as Tubby. Naturally, apologies to them both if I’m wrong, but in any case, the poster known as Tubby must be one hell of a sad freak if he spends all this time creating new accounts on here. Both physically and socially repugnant I'd suppose.
