nah, dont want to change to it but the big wigs in the Company have made he decision apparently. half the business operates it already

Nah, we've been told we're learning microstation then BIM (apparently BIM is basically 3D microstation?)

I heard you draw one 3D model on bim then it generates cross sections for u?

apparently cads on the way out n we'll be left behind unless we make the changeover sharpish

 

That's what I've heard too. I've seen examples of the sections. They are terrible.

 

Got AutoCAD 2013 & Revit. NOt had a proper look at Revit yet. Looks gay, Architect gay.

 

dabbled with revit. no good to me though its better for the architectural side as you say.

The bim seminars are startin up in a couple of weeks
