I think we need a reality check here. Bruce inheroted a poorish thin squad and has improved it now way beyond where it was. Last season, there was that awful spell. Ask Liverpool or Chelsea fans about their awful spell last season. The injuries were unbelievable and the cover was not there. I think he has learned a lot and good on Quinney for sticking by him. I would leave the manager merry go round to the Mags. Look where it got them.

We played boring football at St Andrews when he was in charge. Even his substitutions were always at 60 minutes........ Maybe it was to wake us up!!

One thing no one can abuse Bruce for is the football he plays at Sunderland. I don't like him much as a person but he has us playing attractive football. Chelsea away was the pinnacle of that. We're a varied and attacking team when we play well. We play some of the best attractive football in the league below the top six.

appart from Chelsea, I dont agree, we have no set pieces. apart from corners and throw ins, we lose when we are a goal or more ahead, we won virtually bugger all since christmas, we were lucky to survive relegation, how attractive is that?

Yeah set pieces are the hall mark for attractive football.

I wish we played football like Stoke and Blackburn...

WHERE it got them,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,THEY WALLOPED US.

I don;t know who we could replace Bruce with - MoN is no my cup of tea after the way he treated the Villa fans - he spent a lot of money there and played poor football (to watch) all in all.

Mark Hughes maybe the only one I would have as I think he can gee up a team and gets them playing football.

Bruce has my full support for the time being (And SAFC as a whole will have my full support no matter what) - I just hope this can get sorted out quickly before we turn back into that yoyo side we all hated being!

Everyone in the league gets the same amount of money from the premier league for television rights and how the **** would that be Bruce's fault.

Sort of Disco - everyone gets an initial contracted amount but if you're shown more than 10 times (league games) then you get an extra half million per match (And I agree - not Bruce's fault - more the twat at Sky who selects the games - who, BTW, is a big Newcastle fan)
