Never heard of this singer before. But this is a superb cover of Simon and Garfunkel's classic song. " Disturbed " would seem to be a very appropriate name, considering the vandalism to his chin.
Had the great pleasure of seeing Glen Campbell at St. David's Hall, Cardiff - twice. What a performer. His charisma was astonishing. RIP.
This is the final movement of Mahler's epic 2nd Symphony. The orchestra, conductor, soloists and choir are quite exceptional. The female oboist is lovely, but that's another story. Watch out for Diego Maradona playing a tuba, I think, near the end. I sang with the Tenors in a performance of this work at St. David's Hall, Cardiff, and it was such a magnificent occasion. A packed house helped make it so. If you are not familiar with Mahler, don't really like/know classical music, do give this a try. It's less than 20 minutes of your life, and you may never be the same again. The first time I heard the whole symphony, I couldn't speak for hours. It still grips me, and fills me with awe.
She's really cute. But I saw her first. The whole symphony is on you tube if you fancy it. That's the symphony, not the oboist.
