I don't remember the name of the place. It was just across from the railway station. It was a fantastic venue, packed to the rafters.

The Pullman ? Great Thurs to Saterday nights in there early 80's

 

Captivating song, beautifully performed, by a real mega star. A blockbuster.

Clint Eastwood paid $ 2,000 to use it in his 1971 directorial debut film, ' Play misty for me '. A really spooky thriller.

This track, together with the music he includes in most of his films, show what good taste he has in music.

Had the pleasure of seeing this lady in St. David's Hall, Cardiff.
She sang this accompanied by a large male choir dressed in miners clothes.
At the end of the song, most of the audience were in tears. Remarkable.

 

Sadly, the trashy, unelected, windsor benefit scroungers ruin this video.
What the hell was a Valley's boy doing there ?
Didn't he realise the utmost contempt they had/have for him ?

 

And the sooner, the better.
