Yes plenty of times. Have you seen Evans use his left foot? Ive also seen TC score with his right foot. You seen Evans do that? You seen Elmo cross it with his left foot? Or Rosenior? no.

How often does bale use his left foot? Anyone who buys him are getting ripped off, he's **** as he's only good with his left foot. If spurs keep him they're getting ripped off with his wages. Left footed only players have to be crap, if he was right footed however....

The OP was stating Cairney could only use his left foot, therefore wasn't very good. I've seen him use both and I think he's worked on that part of his game. Quinn is a very good player but tends to turn in circles to keep it on his left, a bit like Cainey a few seasons ago. I can honestly say there aren't an aweful lot of footballers nowadays that can use both feet

Rosenior tried it last season at some point when he was playing LWB and it ended up in the stand.

Does this mean that Cairney is free to sign for Blackburn (or any other club) when his loan expires? as im pretty sure he only has 12 months left on his city deal..

I don't think anyone has split City fans as much since Stuart Green. Like with Green, I'm in the anti camp. I've said it before and I'll say it again, for me he hasn't had a good game since we were relegated.

My only regret with this move is that it's to a Championship club. I think going right down the leagues would've done him a lot of good.

Yes. Tagged onto the end of the article. My error. But the headline also referred to Tommy Spurr from Doncaster Rovers actually.

I know your a lot mental tickles and never read anything before replying but

Blackburn have strengthened their squad with the signings of Tommy Spurr and Tom Cairney.

Left-back Spurr has joined on a two-year deal after failing to agree a new contract with Doncaster, while midfielder Cairney arrives from Blackburn on a six-month loan deal.

Rovers manager Gary Bowyer said of Spurr: "First and foremost, we are delighted that Tommy has agreed to join us, as there were several clubs chasing his signature.

"We have done our homework. He is a good lad and he will add extra height and energy to our back line.

"He has had a good upbringing in terms of where he learned his trade, in the Championship and League One, so he knows the demands of what is required at this level.

"He played every game for Doncaster last season and that mentality, of winning football matches and winning promotion, is something we are trying to get more of into our dressing room."

Scotland U21 international Cairney, meanwhile, has signed until January and will be eligible for the Capital One Cup.

And Sky Sports understands that Blackburn are close to agreeing a deal to sign Hull City midfielder Corry Evans.

    I hope this helps
