I'm not saying it was down to to Cairney I think the whole midfield was poor but for me he wasn't a class act he was a creative midfilder who did the simple things well without creating anything of any importance.
For the record I Like Cairney but hes far from the finished article.
I agree the ref was a joke (that drop ball??)

Wish he could do what he does in the gap between the oppositions defence and midfield rather than their attack and midfield

I thought Cairney had a good game today, but for me Rossy I thought would have been a better candidate, he certainly put in a shift and delivered some decent balls into the box.

My MOTM today was Rosenior I dont think he was great but as a full back he did his job well.
I normally agree with OLM but Cairney wasn't a class act today. Palace had 9\10 men on the edge of there box leaving plenty of space in the middle of the pitch. It was easy to pick up the ball and switch play because he was unopposed can anyone recall one defence splitting ball he made today?
creative midfielders are good decision makers today for me every decision he made was the easy one.

I'd like to see Oli given a chance.. but since when has he been a creative midfielder creating chances and pinging shots on goal? He can be a presence on the pitch as far as playing simple balls and getting on the end of set plays.

Cairney has massively improved on last season, he was my MOTM today. He keeps the ball very well, along with a good passing range. TC has also started showing a lot more physical strength, which was one of his major downfalls last season.

For those pin pointing the performance of the officials, can you please explain what decisions they made today which affected the outcome of the match?

The officials where awful, but that didn't affect the outcome, but it builds up and frustrates the players. Book Dudgeon in the first half but five minutes later you dont book their player on the edge of the box. And the thing is we are trying to play a quick passing game, but the consistent nature of the referee to slow the game down was awful, he pretty much allowed Palace to get back every time before letting play commence.
