    SOUTHAMPTON...???

    AGHAST...!!!

Perhaps it's the fact that I've been living in the Portsmouth area since 1975 that's done it, but I can't help myself...... please don't take this too personally, I have to say it....

    SCUMMER...!!!

I seriously don't get the antipathy to CL on here. I only found it as a result of someone here slating it, and found they do updates from games, which is great as I live far away. Apart from that, I see little difference than here. Thay are Charlton fans like us. Some of them dislike RD, others think he's doing a great job, so what? It's by no means the 'soviet-bloc all thinking alike'mentality I was warned about. Chill out people, it's just another Charlton forum.
And yes, I am registered on there too, undet the same name to confuse people.

I agree ken. We do us, and they do them, as I quoted on another post.

I want us to succeed through the 99% of posts we have on here - intelligent debate from some of the best fans I know. Not from slandering the competition.

That said, typical post about the Christmas tree formation would be post of the year.

No way. Eddie Firmani just did one about pine cones on the Analogies thread that was almost a religious experience. Post of the year, and maybe the decade,

I stopped reading it because the optimism on that site was doing my head in. But I've just had a look and that optimism is fading away. As Jimi Hendrix was heard to observe "Castles made of sand slips in the sea eventually"

Hells bells, they're fine. For god's sake man don't panic. Just stick two pencils up your nose and say 'wibble'. (But not on the match updates). And yes, I do follow the updates on here. On saturday afternoon, at 1000 miles from the valley, any form of information is acceptable, even Fantastic Light and his weird visits here.
