Sorry if I’ve missed it but greatest and worst ever managers .
Nathan Jones is now one of a select few of the former.

I agree that NJ has now joined a small club of CAFC managers who have earned the Club promotion from the 3rd tier;

Sandy MacFarlane
Jimmy Seed
Andy Nelson
Mike Bailey
Chris Powell
Lee Bowyer
Nathan Jones

I'm not sure the Club has actually had a full pack (52) of gaffers.
Possibly if caretakers are included.
Until 2006 Charlton had only had 16 (in 101 years).

Did Aneke really only start 21 games for us!

As far as my stats research could tell - league games.
Not very many is it, spread over six seasons.
Unless my adding up went wrong somewhere I worked out that since August 2021 Aneke has made fewer than 10 league starts for Charlton.

There were times when he was an effective 'impact sub'. Which is why his win rate is relatively good for a player in the 'worst' collection.

Be interesting to see where he ends up next. My bet is either non-league or retirement

Southend - don't sign him! :emoticon-0104-surpr

Also an extra word on the Trumps card;

Aneke made a few starts for us in the Championship, 2019-20 season.
But the vast majority of his appearances were in the 3rd tier.

The card format doesn't really allow for players representing us in more than one league, as most of our worst players didn't stay very long.

Ridiculous, he was part of a fantastic midfield we had at the time.
He was on a podcast and spoke well of us and how he enjoyed his time.
He does come across as he thought he was too big for us.
