People defending Byrne for **** sake... she's an ex criminal lawyer who put AJ in touch with Orlando Pownall, who has a reputation for getting not-guilty verdicts regardless of the circumstances.
The naivety among some people is ridiculous at times on here, since when have lawyers been squeaky clean just because they take up a position in football?

I suppose she is being defended until all facts are known - and this should be so whether or not you think us naïve.

I like to know the truth before expressingt what I think Is true and until all the questions put forth are answered one way or another , I reserve my vote on Byrne and the club .
I've never once stuck up for Johnson , the guy should get what he deserves , I've no doubt of his guilt since the trail ....what Byrne is guilty or not guilty of will wait for me till more is known .
All I did was say Byrne resigned and you went off the deep end about backing child abuse by my comment .
It's the problem here , if your questioning the facts on anything on the subject, you are pinned as backing child abuse .
Nothing could be further from the truth , anything Johnson has done has a trickle down effect on the club and people who support or run it .
Just the facts , all anyone should have before drawing conclusions

1. Try to discredit posts by saying you are waiting for facts and proof. Try to discredit poster's aptitude.

2. Get presented with facts and proof by author of said posts.

3. Try to win debate by dismissing the suggestion of reading facts by saying you do your bidding using 'common sense'.

4. Retrieve spade from shed and repeatedly bang self over head until you forget it all happened.

That's what you want the only difference to be, but in reality, there's a lot more. Unfortunately the one you've highlighted isn't true, I have only commented on things I've read up on, yet you have made everybody aware that you comment on things you admittedly know nothing about <ok>

I didn't say if Byrne helped hire a lawyer or not , go back and read . I said show me proof . I also said if true , why wouldn't she help if she thought Johnson was not guilty . Also , the time line of when he asked her to steer him to a good lawyer is important , probably not to a broad brush painter like yourself .
That lawyer she steered Johnson to probably manufactured Byrne's downfall in the long run . She trusted the wrong guy imo Like I say , we know sweet fuk all about all the evidence and the timelines but some like to use it for their agenda against Byrne .

It's just another Maggie Byrne thread, not interested in the accusation you lot are firing at each other but you're clearly getting nowhere with each other. Looking to see if there was any more Cabral details, just made me think ffs. It wasn't personal at anyone. Ta for the cheep shot though fella. Think i'm just going to stream it at home and watch it with my lady. Could end up at the pub last minute but I doubt it. My mate is having people round for it but can't be bothered mixing with friends of friends, to much hard work. Retired Darlo casuals telling me for the 50th time with their 80s and 90s drug fried brains that it will be kicking right off with the firms but nobody will even hear about it. Knob heads man. Stuck in the past but talking like they're still the boyos and still hard as **** when truth is they're all middle age 40 somethings with on going health problems and narcotic induced mental disabilities, shackled to their wives, kids, jobs and boring little lives. **** that. I'd rather watch the derby in peace at home. <laugh>

A player who impregneted a 13 year old girl and the only reason he's not in jail is because he talked her into fudging the birth certificate and she wouldn't charge him because she was hoping he wiould come back to her ......pathetic , Newcastle fans got more guts than Dick Tracy having a go around this board on this subject Bye bye ....
