Has anybody else heard the rumour about him pushing a young lad over who didn't give him the ball back at the match today?

Apparently he went over and apologised after the match so fair play to him for that and I would like to hear the mags point of view on what happened also.

The stream crashed at this point, but from what I heard he was out of line and should apologize to the boy and his parents.

Seeing as you asked for a mags view....

We had an attack going an a quick throw was on which would've given us a chance. The ballboy picked the ball up and wouldn't let Cabaye take it off him. I don't blame Cabaye for what he did at all. Also as you said he went up and apologised at half time so...

I've just spoke to a mate of mine and he is saying it was nothing, the lad wouldn't give him the ball back and he just grabbed it out of his hands. He also said it could hardly be called pushing the lad over.

He has already apologised to the lad so hopefully no issue is made over it.

However, from a Sunderland point of view..... Cabaye assaulted a young lad and was totally out of order, they is no place in football for people like Cabaye and hopefully the FA throw the book at him :emoticon-0110-tongu

I'm completely the other way TLG....I think Cabaye was being a petulant prick! He wanted the boy immediately and didn't get it, that doesn't give you the right to push the lad over (heat of the moment or otherwise) HOWEVER Cabaye ran across the pitch at half time to shake the lads hand, apologise and give him a hug, so fair play!

For the record, it wasn't a proper push, more of a reach for the ball which was a little too rough, but still, if that had been an opposition player doing it to one of our lads I'd have been fuming!

Ball boy was slowing the game down, Cabaye wanted the ball so took it. Ball boy pushed over(albeit softly).

Hopefully Cabaye gets a massive fine by the club, deserves it. He was completely out of order.

What a load of rubbish I would have done the same as Cabaye

If he'd actually hit him or something then yeh that'd miles out of order but it was a pretty soft push so there really wasn't much in it
I havent seen it or heard about it but I think its a ****ing disgrace. Dirty b&w twat. Lol
