    If/When he does go I'd like to see us go after Will Hughes as his replacement.

    Sell cabaye for 20m and get Hughes for 8m-10m. Hughes can only get better so his value will increase, meaning there's no reason why Ashley shouldn't go for it.

    I think Liverpool or Arsenal are nailed on to sign Hughes in 12m in January by all accounts. I think we missed that boat. A club like us maybe needed to move quicker. Similar story with Ince. If he is free come the end of the season, a bigger club will swoop. Clubs like ourselves have to be quick off the mark like we were in the days with Dyer, Jenas or Milner. We have to be more prepared to take a risk which doesn't seem to be Mike's style. He just looks abroad to get something more proven or cheaper.

    It'll be a similar story with Gauld, the big clubs will just buy him now to ensure they don't have to pay a premium in the future if, as looks likely, his talent develops into something special. I'd happily part with 5m-8m for young Gauld. I'm sure Pards would. I think Mike will think "Go **** yourself. Graham - what have we got on the France front?"

    I miss the Champions League but I'll be f#cked if I'm going to start supporting Arsenal or Man Utd just to watch it.

    If Cabs missed the Champions League so much he should have got his finger out and done his best on the field to get back into it instead of bellyaching.

    would love dembele to replace him ..if he goes ..would be brill ... I hope the hughes mentioned isn't the derby player cause he vastly overated,, in my eyes big style.
