    I'm still not sure how Ryan Taylor is a viable (nevermind favourable) central midfield option. With Cabaye out we'll miss his work in possession, covering of ground and defensive contribution more than we will his 'creativity'. Cabaye is an excellent creative player but that side of his game has been shackled for weeks and arguably months anyway.

    I don't think Gosling or Taylor will go anywhere near replacing the gap left in his absence. Blackburn and Villa are poor in the centre of midfield but I'd still fancy their options to run all over us.

    How do you figure? Did fine up until the sending off at Norwich (that shouldn't have been a straight red anyhow) and has seemed fine whenever else he's appeared.

    He made one misplaced pass for the third goal. He looked excellent going forward and didn't do badly in defence either. Don't forget who he had behind him.

    Dont think so, 3 matches should see him eligible for wolves (the game before the derby) but if he gets an extra match he will miss wolves. The derby will be the first game he is eligible for

    Ben Arfa should be played no where near the back line.

    He tries really risky runs sometimes they make great chances but sometimes he loses possession and losing it in that position is fatal.
