It should be perfectly possible for us all to fully discuss the implications of coronavirus, the best policies to ensure a speedy recovery and the likely complications to Brexit. The idea of a forum is to have a variety of ideas and debate the merits of these and maybe suggest alternatives in a grown up manner.

Ah, this is cute. It’s trying to be condescending. No, look it up, sh, you’ll never learn if I have to tell you what that means.

“Four or five weeks ago it looks like a lot of countries thought: ‘That’s our problem, that’s our problem, that’s our problem, we have a problem with them’ and stuff like this. Now nature shows us we are all the same and we have all the same problems in the same moment, and we have to work together on the solution. There is nothing good in that situation apart from maybe what we can learn from that.” “So in the moment when you go through a phase or a period like this it’s not possible to see that, especially not for the people who are ill, but there will be a point in the future, a moment in the future when we look back and hopefully then we can see it like this. Because that’s the solution for it – we all have to be disciplined, we all have to work together, we all have to take care of each other and that’s the solution for this problem.”

    Jürgen Klopp

The man talks perfect sense. Countries will have to come together despite some who think that they know better.

He is clearly embarrassed about his country turning it's back on fellow member states.

I don't think you know much about him. The more you come up with your Express, Mail type comments, the further you seem to move away from concern for what is happening in the world.

I'm sure most Germans would be ashamed, it is they that clearly lacked concern.

I take it that you haven't noticed that Germany has been taking in patients from Italy and France. Anything that is good and shows cooperation between nations you scorn. What is up with you?

After the previous lack of empathy they were shamed into action. Better late than not at all.

I wonder if the self employed will declare more of their income in future now that support is based on their profits.
I am pretty sure my sister generates a lot of cash which does not go near her tax return, much to my disgust.

My guess is they will carry on as before and desperately hope no more pandemics. Is this one of the reasons the government are keen to do away with cash a.s.a.p.

There are reports the mafia will pick up lots of cheap distressed businesses as they did after 2008. Italy has had no growth since 2008, I dread to think how it will fare after this crisis.

You are probably right so doing away with cash will increase the tax take, and maybe lower tax rates for all.
