Championship: Millwall 0 Middlesbrough 2

Millwall lowered their prices to £5 to entice fans to The Den prior to Christmas and their team served up a performance that meant those in the ground overpaid for their ticket.

The Lions served up a limp performance in the first half with aimless long balls that instantly were returned from whence they came from Boro.

It went from bad to worse in the second as Emmanuel Ledesma, on for the injured Mustapha Carayol in the 32nd minute, curled home four minutes into the second half.

Manager Steve Lomas, who has constantly had his doubters, came under more fire from the supporters calling for his head.

All other Millwall supporters got ripped off on our sky sports fee watching that heap of trash, only we could play the long ball in the middle of a ****ing Gail !!!, they'll be flying kites next with a lead weight on and wondering why it hasn't gone up yet<wah>:emoticon-0183-swear:emoticon-0183-swear

100 years of playing in cold blow lane and we still cant handle a bit of wind <laugh>

Call me mad Phil but unless he takes us down I've still got this feeling that he's bombproof this season no matter what happens, just think the lengths that the board went too to get him paying St. Johnstone a reported £100k to buy him out of the last year of his contract means that giving him the tin tack will show they were wrong all along.

There'll surely be a point of no return you'd think though and perhaps JB already knows what that is in his own mind especially when you think of the managers already sacked this season for much less, Zola & Jol were no surprise to me but I really couldn't understand or believe Clarke at West Brom! <yikes> <ok>

What's the problem lads ? thought you were having a good season. You're not in the bottom three yet, that's like winning the league for you guys isn't it.Don't forget as Millwallsteve once said,he was using the FFP rules to sign all the league's top players. If nothing else you've got a young  team of stars .Steve said he can see him becoming a Legend and with 23 championship teams he already is.And if your form falls off after xmas like last season at least you don't have far to fall.:emoticon-0105-wink:

In the cold light of day he is over achieving. Perhaps JB knows this and far from sacking him Lomax will be getting a bonus. You are a pub team playing many divisions above where you should be.

You should be thanking him, every week outside the bottom three should be treated as a bonus. By February you will be relying on Charlton going into admin to stay up.

Glad to have cleared that up for you.
