sad to see him go, if anyone is under any delusion the new permanent manager is not Hess then accept we have already re loaned and shifted a player under him and unless Scally has long term plans for him he wouldn't have such authority to play with the budget or squad when a new man might want the money or players.

Unless Kedwell moving was a prerequisite to allow us to speak to Jamie Day? Kedwell only signed a two year extension in May...

Hope he does well at Ebbsfleet and be the player that I remember at Wimbledon and when he first came to the Gills. Would love to be able to wish him well but unlike other Gills I am not allowed to. All you Gills fans will still see me at Priestfield but I will look out for the Ebbsfleet results and how Keds is getting on.

I wish him well but this was clearly a level too far for him,a good conference striker an adequate league 2 one, but league 1 was just a step too far.

I think the quote above sums up my feeling for Kedwell perfectly. Probably on a decent wedge and will free up some cash for a decent stroker hopefully!!!

Was not surprised as he has struggled since his injury and could not form a decent partnership with Cody. All the best to Danny as he always did his best even when carrying a injury.

From what I have heard I get the impression that this decision was of Scally's doing rather than anyone else. Possibility a PT death twitch as he definitely wanted Keds out.

Scally's decisions over recent seasons are seriously worrying me. Just a reminder you might hold the reigns but this is OUR club. Yeah u can walk away and drop us in it but at least we will all know where we really stand as GILLINGHAM FC. This is a mess of the highest order and i dont even have expectations, other than to watch a respectable Saturday afternoons football!
