So if Matt Slater is proved right,ok joyous news obviously-but the obvious question would be "why the **** did you leave it to the last minute" (and cause so much worry and hardship).Fingers crossed everyone -but I fear the worst.
Greenjock, so if matt Slater is right-joyous news obviously, but the obvious question to ask Bishop international would be "why the **** did you leave so late" (and cause so much worry and hardship).Fingers crossed - but I fear the worst.
notdistantgreen I get all of that and have from the outset but I am not questioning the sellability of the club or necessarily the way a process goes. That was not my point. My point was about the credibility of the people involved which is something different altogether. The point that Ridsdale did nothing for nothing from the outset despite his protestations that he was only here to "help". The Administrator proved he had no stick at all despite constantly waving his hands about. He isn't or wasn't even good at bluffing. Heaney is a double dealer and never had any credibility from the start. He just lied and lied at the outset until he couldn't any longer about involvement and then about his finances. You will never convince me that he said to the Admin that he would buy the debt butonly if another deal went through to fund it. If that was the case and the Admin bloke accepted that then surely that by definition would not be the "best deal" on the table. I too am glad the club is saved if indeed it is but the people involved need looking at all the same.
I have 2 things to say: 1) The main thing is that the club survives 2) Errr the main thing is that the club survives
