If they can fill the ground at those prices for Wigan at home then fair play to them. People will pay silly money to see us get stuffed by United, Chelsea etc but if someone doesn't want to pay ã30 to see us play Doncaster are they going to pay ã50 or ã60 to see us against Wigan, Norwich etc? It's all very well having bronze and silver season tickets at not quite taking the piss levels but they will get snapped up sharpish whilst there will be a few thousand available to non-ST holders and I don't think there are enough people for us to pack out every game. I hope I'm wrong, and I'm sure I'll be enough of a mug to part with my cash some of the time. I fear I'm going to be mostly restricted to the less fashionable away games, which is a shame but there's not a lot one can do.
I don't see how leg room can change whatever you charge. Would a new stadium really see a price fall?
Look on the bright side. I have to pay for a plane ticket to see Rangers and sit in a very uncomfortable seat for 10 hours.
QPRanger, I know we haven't really talked much, but you can't really be serious. Not606 is really the only place i can find friends when i feel lonely.
Having seen the latest announcement - i'm beginning to thing you were right with the above, **** sleeping on it.
QPR100, understand your frustrations but how can you turn your back on all these buddies that clearly want you around on here? So refreshing to see that level of care. Personally, I enjoy your passionate posts and the Buz rangles with Swords. ...and don't tell me that come match days you won't be getting as close as you can afford to see what's going on. TV, Wolves, Villa etc. with Cannock, friggin' radio if necessary. Like the rest of us 100, you've got a serious addiction - so just enjoy it however you can. Once an R always an R mate!!
No way, you can't do it. There are several reasons, but the main one is that none of us could ever get QPR out of our blood, regardless. Let’s face it, if we could we would have done so by now. Either after dropping into division 3 (as we know it), or losing to Vauxhall Motors, or shafting Ian Holloway, or whatever is your particular low point. But we are all still here, and here we stay. I’ve never had a season ticket, and probably never will. I can’t afford the time or the money. That doesn’t mean I can’t support the club. I will probably go fewer times next season. It is a shame, but that’s life. It doesn’t mean I support the club any less than someone who has not missed a match for 10 years. If you can’t get to the games, as many can’t, we will produce what atmosphere we can on this web site. Now there are more members, it will get better in that way. Finally, I enjoy reading your posts. You generally come across as someone you thinks about what he is going to say before posting – I wish I did the same at times. Don’t deprive us of your insightfully comments. Anyway, once an R, always an R. You are not going anywhere.
