Deila oot?

I've always said Deila was the wrong man. He's been the wrong decision from the get-go, and yes, some of that blame falls with the board. He was employed because he was cheap and because, with no seasonal challenge from anyone for the title, he could, and has, cruised along winning the bare minimum so as to keep his job and Celtic could spend less in the process.

The Huns took a manager from the Championship who had won NOTHING in his managerial career, and he seems to be doing quite well. I'm not looking for an expensive option like Moyes, and I'm not wanting someone to tell Scott Brown he can't eat fish finger sandwiches straight after training. I'm looking for someone who understands what is required to manage a club like Celtic, and Deila does not have an iota of a clue.

DD and PL did back Lennon though. They've also backed Deila. Cole, CKZ, GMS, Armstrong, Ciftci, Erik, Griffiths to name a few, and Lennon was backed also. It just so happens that for every Hooper and Griffiths, we have Banguras, Pukkis, Baldes, Scepovic etc.
Money has been spent - yes, less than what's been taken in, but when you spend more than you earn, that causes problems in the future. For us to be spending 2.5m on a striker, you'd hope it'd be someone who is guaranteed to do the job, not someone who can't even make match day squads. Even signing an experienced pro (Cole), and that's been pointless. You think Lawwell is asking for Carlton Cole to be signed? No, he isn't. Neither is DD. Those signings fall on Deila's shoulders, in the same way PL isn't patted on the back for the Wanyamas, the Tierneys, the Forsters.

Celtic will spend in the summer, they have no other option, and they'd better spend it wisely, and it had better be someone else than ****ing Ronny Deila doing so.

Carlton Cole is a fat lump of a boy who doesn't fit the Ronny outlook hence never gets a game.

I've said before how I believe Celtic transfers work and I don't think it'll change. Ronny agreed to it though so he can't complain.

We do spend money...but in a scattergun/hedge betting approach which has resulted in a wanyama and a van dik but has far more duds

If the manager sees a player he likes it's doesn't matter if we can afford him...we need to make a profit on him and it's safer buying 4 potential 10 mil players at 2.5mil than one at 10 mil who might actually be more proven at a higher level...so sorry you can't have him...but hey this free transfer has played in a world cup...

I'm not positive about any changes as we only react to what out opposition do and they won't be spending **** all so the gamble will continue

Question for all:

How did you feel after yesterday … like Celtic had lost to a new club from the championship or like Celtic had lost to Rangers ?

Whether they're a new club or not, it still feels like a crushing defeat to our rivals. Watching the game still had the same nervous adrenaline to it.

And losing has the same crushing feeling, but on this occasion it's worse because we should have buried these bastards with the 4 years we've had on them.

I think they're a new team, but it's best described as: it's not the same brush but it's still Trigger's.

We were very very poor and Rangers were really fired up for it, that being said a wonder goal and a deflection apart they did not threaten Craig Gordon's goal to any extent and despite us being awful we still took it to penalties.

I've supported Delia all this time but I'm afraid after that display he has to go, we won't be stuck for suitable applicants and the sooner we get one the better, because the board must know by now that any support Delia may have had - from people like me - has all but evaporated.

Never watched it

Embarrassed that a championship team who ship goals to plumbers and painters appear to have leathered us
