I'm going to be 100% honest here and say as a fan of Scottish football I'm gutted Boyd is leaving. Mixed feelings as a Celtic fan, he never really hurt us directly but his goal tally can't be doubted and he scored goals last season in games where the rest of the Rangers team were playing mince.

As a Scotland fan I hope he actually gets games for Villa and should be a better signing that Heskey IMO. He'll need to work hard to make an impact but in recent months he hasn't looked the same guy as last season. He looks fitter, more focused and is prepared to work for the ball.
 
Ah well never mind life goes on.If he wants to go then let him.Lets hope Big Eck responds with a nice wee offer for McGeady.

Im not in shock,any **** with half a brain would have been looking at Boyd with his scoring record.Pity we never knew what we had till it was gone.

Yes, just on Sky Sports a few minutes ago getting in to a car outside the training ground Bodymoor Heath.

He hasn't said **** all since I said *Rocket* was a **** but an alright ****. If it is *Rocket* then he got me good and he should just admit it as I've been missing the auld ****s banter. If not *Rocket* then he's just a ****ing fannybaws.
 
Look, Barrymore is the king of light entertainment.

Just because he had a few guys round for a soiree and one chap unfortunately died of a bum explosion doesn't make him a bad guy.
