Bit harsh. As you say yourself, us fans know nothing. So why good riddance when you don't know his exact contribution.?

I know he as part of the old set up played his part in quite a few seasons of bloody awful, often boring, frustrating and often loosing football. He was employed to coach and improve a squads weaknesses. I'm not saying it's all his fault as we have been a basket case of a football club.

I will say this, it has not been a good year mostly at QPR and he was a big part of a bad set up. Like in many jobs if you don't do well in your roll and hit your basic targets you get replaced or demoted. We need a sea of change at Rangers from top to bottom. This is why I'm personally happy to hear this news.

Sorry Aqua, you did ask so I'v given you my reasons why and please forgive me if it was a tad patronizing dude!

So many good candidates any of Hill, Francis, Derry but my choice would be Bircham, and Derry because I'm greedy ;)

Worked under the dinosaur HR in a period that possibly saw our worst football for years.......acceptable when we were in Div 1 with average players and no money.....but with some expensive, supposedly decent players in his time..........of course good riddance even if its the last of the old school........WHat do you want HR Back?!!!!!

Agreed, I thought Harry's chamber maid would have left when he did. As I've said previously, Bond will be stirred but not shaken by the clubs' announcement.

I was rather surprised that he didn't do the honourable thing and follow Joe Jordan & Glenn Hoddle out the door after Harry resigned - likely his presence on the coaching team didn't effect our demise too much, but it certainly didn't help - he always looked decidedly dull and uninterested on match days. If he was unwanted, but still hanging on until the expiry of his contract, that could explain Ramsey appearing to give him the cold shoulder in the hotel lobby in Leicester, as Nines reported.
