Seemed to have promise early on but never got into the team regularly. Injuries haven't helped the lad although I got the impression from somewhere that he has some sort of underlying health condition that's held him back. Best of luck to him.
Definitely not first team standard, 3rd tier seems about the right place for him. Goodnight to him but he should've gone long ago. If only we could rid ourselves of the "wonderkid" Haris Vuckic too, but we appear to be stuck with him.
We have really been poor at brining in youth over the last 5-10 years. Our scouting and youth policy has been dreadful. I can't name one player that has been through our academy over the last 10 years who has made it other than a goalkeeper who we let go and is playing at Southampton right now. Anyone else.
Not many when you think about it. 'Made it' probably subjective depending on point of view. James Tavernier - doing well at Rangers Kazenga LuaLu - Brighton.
He only became constantly injured at Liverpool and West Ham, he was a massive success for us. Also Dummett, say what you like about him , but he's established himself as a first team player. Nile Ranger would have been a success if he wasn't a prick, and Shane Ferguson's made it too, but yeah not much else.
