bye bye Anderson

I'm prepared to believe that S O'D has enough nouse to know if he can or can not get anything out of J.E.T. after all he is our manager and has experience of managing players including J E T so must know or at the very least believe strongly that he can get more from J E T than others have. After all he managed to get Fonts and Tango to play well enough that we had a couple of clean sheets towards the end of the season.

Honest view from a ipswich fan

Hi all, Ipswich town fan here, so it seems we're swapping JET for your Paul Anderson?First what's he like? When you signed him I thought WOW great signing but haven't actually seen him play!If you want to know about JET keep reading, basically on his day he could be the best player in this league and easily play I the BPL. He is sadly VERY inconsistent and lacks work rate. His talent is undoubtedly very high and when he uses it he can change games in an instant. His other main issue is that he doesn't really have a established position. He's played up top on the right left and middle for us! If played in an attacking non 442 formation I'm sure he'd absolutely rip up league 1. Plus SOD sounds like he knows him and 'could' get the best out of him. You've got your self a hell of a player on your hands if it goes through, it's up to him to be it though.Good luck next year, you should do well with your squad + manager.

A perfect summary RR <ok> JET on his day is an amazing player BUT he has to be in the mood and that's the problem! He may well be a 'world beater' when he plays at the Gate for the first game in the sunshine but the real test for him will be a trip to somewhere like Tranmere on a freezing cold November night.

Absolutely correct. Balmy late summer afternoons are easy. But with cold wet, miserable, horizontal rain at Barnsley, Walsall or Oldham it's a test of character not ball playing ability. Will JET pas the "Carlisle Test"?

Do we really want this guy with baggage? All other comment made by other club's fans is negative about his attitude.
Might be talented but SO'D likes workers in a pattern. SO'D like a queen bee?

SoD and JET obviously like each other,JET played some cracking football for him.Hope this deal comes off, will be amazing signing.

There was major talk he would play for England earlier in his career.

Remember SoD is well known for his coaching skills.
