It's like it's the first game they've ever seen sometimes isn't it. You'd think after watching football for a career they'd be a bit more attuned to these things. Another one that annoys me, not the commentators fault this time, is how they have to apologise every time you can hear swearing. It's happening all the time with the stadiums being quiet could they not just put up a disclaimer on the screen at the start of every half.
Quite similar to: he maybe hit that too well (when someone doesn't score). Normally when they think a more scuffed effort might have gone in. Regardless, if he hit it well (maybe cushioned the finish somewhat) he'd have scored. You don't miss because you hit it too well ffs
I hate it when commentators say 'its not a penalty because the handball was 'accidental''. 95% of handballs are accidental!!!! Now if they use the word 'unavoidable' that would make more sense.l
It really annoys me when commentators say that the 'keeper 'just about kept it out' which means that it went in, when he saved it . . . . so he did keep it out, you stupid bastards
"It could have went anywhere", no **** Sherlock "I don't think that is red, he never meant it". yes but LOAF doesn't say it has to be intentional "He isn't that sort of player", well clearly he is. "and its liiiiivvvve", just **** off man "the ref did well not to send him off, he's just come on and getting used to the pace"- so ****, rules are rules "the ref has spoiled the game sending him off early "- no the player has ruined the game
“Pass to the Twat in red and white stripes” or is that just heard in my house while watching us play (it’s acceptable to change the shirt referred to if we are wearing our blue kit)
