As much as I like the guy this one is confusing. I did think that he was one who would be good enough at this level, and apart from a couple of occasional flashes he has not been. Maybe with Barton's future unclear Hughes thought to keep him for one more season as cover, but I can't see it. Hopefully he will get a better offer from somewhere else.
If only we could have special teams like in American Football. We could then bring him on for those free kick situations he is so good at. I like Buzsaky a lot but he does seem to be above his optimum level in the PL. I think he has the vision and skill of the great midfielders but he doesn't seem to think fast enough to avoid trouble when faced with top quality opponents.
Did he really make 21 appearances for us this year? Lot more than I thought. Bit lightweight for this level, probably been told he will be back up at best, hence the 'thinking about it'. But as has been said, he's the right type of player for QPR, more like him, but better please.
I like the guy and he always tries and does have some flashes of genius. I'd like to think we were aiming higher than this., but maybe MH see some use for him as a fringe player when desperate. Confuses me, so I'm going to trust MH with this one. He did it with Tarbs and Mackie.....here's to hoping?

And at least 2 defensive central holding midfield players - 3 if Barton is off. Other than Derry who can not be counted on for regular starts another season we have only Ale there. Diakite is not with us yet.

Good on you. Me too, still on a high from Sunday so today was brill. 8 o'clock me and my missus literally passed out on the couch after putting the kids to bed. It's a nice day out but ****in' exhausting!
10-12 players will be released, we prob can't afford to replace all of them this off season. We will prob build our team and squad over the coming 2-3 years. Keeping Buz as a squad player for an extra season may not light my fire but it prob makes sense. Obviously, i hope we buy an ACM to compliment Diakite/Ali/Barton.
