I don't think anyone has said anything against such a move. I offered an opinion that in many cases, loan moves are a prelude to players leaving, such as Garrido with us having further options at the seasons end. Its obvious that he is going to be back at Lazio. Are we really expecting to see Vaughan, Ward and Ayala back at the club challenging for a start?
I hope Butterfield goes on loan, is magnificent and improved and returns and becomes part of a real class midfield. I have seen him play only once as I suspect most others on here have so I can't comment from that game whether or not he is up to it. He is going to have to play bloody well to get into the queue let alone the starting line up.

Well I think Ayala will come back and challenge for a first team place he's only 21 and hasn't done much wrong in a Norwich shirt. Heard he's playing really well for Forest as well.

He's injured (again) isn't he? I thought that was why they'd taken Wardy on loan as well

He's managed 8 games already this season, I might be wrong but he didn't play the first 4 or so league games, I don't know why, to be fair. Yeah he has a hamstring injury at the moment according to BBC, which will see him out for 3 weeks. I still rate him though, I think he is a good player.

They did bring Ward in to cover Ayala, but I remember there were a few rumours that Forest wanted Ward in the summer. So probably helped it materialise quicker.
