<yikes> Does this mean we are going to have an on-field committee for captain? <laugh>

I find it funny what Barnsley are saying about this that they find it ridiculous that Norwich are trying to pay as little as possible for the player! <doh> Of course we are!

Great to see Norwich starting to buy some new players. Although, a little surprised by some of the choices so far. We have a very strong midfield at the moment, so not sure how we can also accommodate Butterfield unless someone is leaving. Of the Rangers players who walked away I would have preferred Naismith or Aluko. Until Naismith got injured for Rangers last season they were well ahead of Celtic on points, but following his injury the teams form suffered then they had the 10 point deduction for going into admin. Naismith gave a great amount of drive to Rangers midfield and is very quick, he is also capable of scoring great goals. Aluko is a skilful and quick winger who did really well last season both in creating and scoring goals. When he was signed he drastically improved the performance of Rangers team and is the sort of player and makes fans want to turn up and watch.

I don't know if it's been said already, as I haven't got time to go through the 6 pages. Does he strike anyone as another Howson? Young, English, highly rated by the home fans, made captain at a young age. If we can keep hold of our players, we have a fair few natural leaders in our squad now!

we would never have been able to attract naismith nor aluko - both will end up in the upper echelons of the premier league, assuming they move down south. i'm just thankful we didn't go after kyle 'laugh'ertty! <laugh>

......looks like a wes type according to reports, being described as a player in the gascoigne mould. just so long as he is not a gazza off the pitch.
