They haven't been able to play patient football recently because the crowd get on the players back after 10 minutes. What do you expect us to do, we have no pace since Stewart was injured so playing end to end stuff isn't much of an option. We can't hoof it seeing as we don't have players designed for that, and we are set perfectly to play on the counter. The way I see it is 4-2-2-2 at home. Chester and Evans in the middle, Belaid and Koren further up the pitch behind 2 strikers. Let the full backs create the width (which Rosenior and Daws have done pretty well) We'd have 2 creative lads in + Evans who will end up near the box like he does anyway. But we still need to be patient because openings don't appear from nowhere, we have to make them. If that means passing the ball forward then back to pull their midfield/defence out of position then we should allow the team to do that.
What the hell is 4-2-2-2?? we'd just get by-passed on the flanks.. He's got to go with Garcia & Simpson today IMO & Koren needs the licence to create behind the strikers, if it doesn't work with him, bring on Belaid. Duke Rosenior Hobbs Gerrard Dawson Garcia Hobbs Evans Koren Simpson Fryatt
