I hadn't seen this article from Michael Vale. Colin, I know you're not my biggest fan but maximum respect to you. After reading that, you've probably got blue and white blood running through your veins.

Tonight we had drinks round our friends pool. I had a lively discussion with a lovely young lady called Rebecca and I thought at the time her views were similar to yours. It is an age thing. Me and James lived in a differnt word to what it is now.

I hope you understand that and I will try to understand your point of view even if I disagree with it.

Also, whatever happened to Michael Wale? He was the sports bloke on south east at six for years as well, but haven't heard of him for a while.

This reminds me when the matchday programme used to be worth reading. I know the type of content is limited for football matches but does it really have to be so relentlessly dumbed down these days? If we can't have Michael Wale or Derek Buxton back can we at least have a letters page again? Come somebody please tweet TF on this point.
