I'd be more inclined to give Luer a start than Akpom (or have I missed him going out on loan somewhere?). I can see Bury defenders targeting Akpom for some serious attention in the hope/expectation that he'll lose it and lash out - the last thing we'll need is to be down to 10 men on a rough pitch against a committed 'lesser' side. Even if Luer is targeted for a loan spell to get experience, which I think is what should happen, having him start against the level of competition he'll probably face on loan will be a good way to show potential clubs what he's capable of (including Bury).
I would hope that NONE of last weeks starting eleven start @ Bury. Luer will be out on loan in League Two by Monday, Akpom and Diamonde are with us for the rest of the season and desperately need game time, I'd definitely start them.
Sounds about right go me. I feel sorry for Elmo 'cos he'll not get any support from Aluko. Tymon should be OK with the experience of Taylor in front of him.
