All ****ing over, this is the season over for us, what a waste, money has been spent we have players that are good enough but also there is still a mix of players who are not, why is Frampton still in the team, would have thought King would get his place back, Hessenthaler better drop Fish now, again and again I have said he is ****.

fair result tonight as it was a fair result on saturday. Under hess this appears to be our level.

Mind you, we ended our away drought( a run far worse than tonights hosts record run) at oxford last year and look at them now eh! will this galvanise us for the final push?six straight wins and who knows?

Why is Hessenthaler making so many mistakes, Miller gets a goal then don't play again, Evans plays brilliant and don't play, King comes back does well and now Frampton is back he is back on the bench, I know he was going to miss the weekend but he could have played today.

awful result, total joke. How can we lose to a team who have not won a game this year. We better win at home on satarday or Hessy has to go.

don't care what fans say about not not being out of it till the games run out, OUR SEASON IS OVER !!!

we now need to give the kids ago so we can build again, i'm afraid that future i hope for is without hess and his shadow...clueless tactics and not able to inspire the players !

he had no idea what to do against a side not able to win this year, yet only reacted when going behind.

always starts with fish and martin and brings oli on as the first sub..unless he starts that is !
they are c**p and always prone to errors and OG'S !

frampton instead of king etc...what goes on in that head of yours hess ?????

this makes me no less of a fan, but i hope we lose saturday and hess steps down !

so much for your mini league hess, that must put us bottom.... once more, OUR SEASON IS OVER AND WE NEED TO CHANGE THINGS...NOW !!!

I love Gills so much, that I physically hurt if I have to be critical - but tonight's effort was rubbish. I also hate to criticise Hess - but he has made some strange team selection in the last few games. King has been immense since his return - yet Frampton is slected. Fish chosen ahead of Evans and Charlie Lee. Montrose - who has largely failed to deliver, instead of Spiller. Why has Hess returned to picking some of the 'less deserving' ?
I would have 11 players with the passion that Hess showed in a Gills shirt - but it really does appear that he is unable to fashion a group of not untalented individuals into a consistently good team ( and or his tactics are wrong. ) - and what exactly does Southall do ? - I ask this question because all that I see him do is place a few plastic cones during the pre match warm up. I am sorry to say this, but we need a management team that can motivate the players of relatively humble teams - such as Stoke and, dare I say Swindon, and turn them into a successful side.
    Roll on August.

Looking at the results from last night, Oxford comfortably won at Accrington, Crawley won at Bradford, Shrewsbury were beating Vale before the game was abandoned.

Now look at what we've done against those teams. Lost embarrasingly at Accy and failed to beat them at home, couldn't beat Bradford twice, couldn't beat Vale twice. Also add to that we lost to Dagenham, just beat Northampton and Hereford and lost to a side that hasn't won since Boxing Day.

Those results are nothing short of appalling and the manager is clearly struggling to find a way to beat poor League 2 sides. I'm not going to question Hessenthaler's loyalty to the club but it is clear he does not know how to get a winning team together. His record is similar to the three succesful years we had in Division 1/Championship i.e a mid-table side. Dare I say it but we need a manager like Steve Evans and Di Canio who will demand the best from his players and are ruthless and know how to get the job done.

I am not sure what will happen to Hessenthaler now, I think Scally will decide at the end of the season.

I've just seen the highlights from the game - comedy of errors!

Long ball from Gazza on this occasion goes against us, when Whelpdale (I think) is unable to bring it down and under control. We come under attack and AGAIN try to call the offside and AGAIN fail!

Just for you that do not know, it's that trick we have where we all freeze and stand there waving our arms about in the air like a party trick, how many more times this is League Two refereeing it don't work. Gazza saves the incoming ball, only to parry it in to the advancing feet of Fish, who has an excellent shot on target and buries it for an own goal.

It looked as though Obita and Kuffour should have made more of their opportunities.
