Nice one. I've also failed to notice that O'Brien gets an inch taller every game he plays ... ... and the great stepover at the start of the third goal.
When the big players like McGeady, Wyke, Sanderson and Gooch start performing with confidence, that confidence transfers itself to other members of the team. You can see the difference it's made to the likes of O'Brien and McLaughlin. You're right mate, he looks an inch taller because he's playing with his head held high.
Bizarre he hasn’t been played frequently imo. If Wright was fit, I’d lay a wager that he wouldn’t have been in the side yesterday. Baffles me honestly.
you're right mate when he is in the side the confidence at the back rises dramatically, which is causing players to push further up and get around their goalmouth, instead of always having to look back to help the defence, they can concentrate on the attack instead
Agree. Another thing I've noticed recently, is the throw ins aren't just being hoyed up the line, which ends up being a 50/50 ball. There is movement into space for them now, meaning we keep the ball. Sometimes the small things make a big difference....witchcraft I tell tha.
Man City are on course for their 18th straight league win, 1-0 at Arsenal at present, if they can do it why can't we.
