I have two tickets for this that I can't now use, they'll be at the ground. The grandkids are down for a weeks holiday and my suggestion to give the ladies a quiet night without us didn't go down too well. Shame, it's only a couple of hours and I think we'll win. Burton aren't anything to fear and have very little possession, attempts on goal and corners ... ... we'll just have to be careful of their endless forward balls onto the edge of our box. O'Nien is back and I expect him to take the place of Evans. 2-0 to Sunderland, Haway the Lads!!!
I'm sad enough to notice that for our last couple of games our team news has been a few mins late. Used to be bang on an hour before. Admin OUT
Quite surprised at McGeady starting, thought he would be on the bench with LJ mentioning him on his press conference
Some of those grounds are really nice but I'm still a sucker for a traditional, old fashioned ground. I get round a lot of non-league grounds and some of the new ones are really impressive and excellent community facilities but nothing beats the old ramshackle ones with their mismatched stands, old boys and a dog, and the same old dear in the tea stand who's been there since 1957.
It's looking like he is going to have to be 'managed' throughout the season. Maybe he gets a break against Wimbledon at the weekend.
