Don't think McGeady will start as LJ mentioned him in his press conference regarding playing catch up in fitness, maybe AOB or Diamond to come in
Great thread again RTB. Difficult one to call. Burton play some canny stuff. Obviously I want a win but a draw isn’t a disaster. Need to hold the ball better than we did Saturday gave it away to easily. I’m going score draw.
Like the weekend I'm at work again tonight boo hoo. I'd settle for the same result again but relying on phone app updates is awful, no sense as to how the game is panning out, time I retired I think.HTL
We’ve had two penalties mind which I think count for 0.8. We’d have had a lower xG than MK in the game on Saturday if not for that.
Thanks for that. I had a glance at the Burton forum and they came across as very bitter. I was disappointed.
Obviously I already knew and didn't have to google it, but for anyone who didn't know xG means expected goals.
I've had to google it again and do everytime it comes up. Basically we are creating plenty of decent chances. We have scored two which I assume is fair, as 4.48 isn't as simple as it first seems. How many were low like 0.2 (20% expected to score) how many 0.8 high chance/ expected to score? 4.48 isn't 4 clear chances. Just glad we are getting those numbers high and we are scoring.
Just hoping we don't continue to drop precious points due to our terrible transfer activity, allowing the Ipswich's and Wigan's of the league to pull further ahead of us. Oh.....................
My predicted team: Burge Winchester Flanagan Doyle Cirkin O'Nien Neil McGeady Embleton Diamond Stewart Subs: Patterson ; Alves ; Wright ; O'Brien ; Gooch ; Pritchard ; Broadhead
I worry about our defending their set pieces and long throws with that team. The RR link above with the Burton fan said they'll make it a battle tonight. I'm not convinced that team is best suited for a battle. For me maybe introduce Alves (and/or) Wright and Gooch to that team.
Has the makings of a top class manager no doubt, and this is another team Good shout but it might be McGeady on the bench not Gooch. Gooch will probably start, he has, until that last game looked at his best this season, and LJ is a big fan.
