It could just be a precaution. In a way it could be a bit of a good thing as if Nigel thought Whitbread, St. Ledger and Morgan would be enough now he probably realise it wont and he will go out on get another centre half

With Knockaert signing a centre half is the only position we really need cover for

Got back from Burton. Drinkwater was excellent tonight. Motored around the pitch for 90 minutes, never gave the ball away. Not sure where Marshall was. More LCFC there than Burton. Good night all round, including popping on to the team bus for a butchers.

Nigel said Marshall was ill, Futacs took a knock at the weekend and he will miss the Lincoln match but he should be back for the Sunderland game

Futacs sat behind me with a young tall blond lass. Welcomed him to Leicester. Loved the chant after Lloyd scored 'He scored with his head. He scored with his head. You must be awful. He scored with his head'. Great cross by Gally though.

Nugent got 16 last season, King got 16 the year before, IF Beckford stays he is capable of getting 20 and I reckon Jamie Vardy possibly could

Sounds like Schlupp had a nice game, I'm taking that even if it's just a pre-season friendly. Was Waghorn playing wide last night? Seemed to have a seriously random team for most of it- first half there were 4 strikers on the pitch, and second half had 3 RBs, with a striker playing LB!

To be fair, the system last night was pretty interchangeable. Beckford played down the centre, and Waggy played on the left and right side with Schlupp on the left. Pelts played RB til he was subbed, when DeLaet moved from CB to RB (Pelts looked really good last night). It was interesting sitting virtually next to the dug out, NP was continually encouraging players to close down quickly and also for the midfield and defence to play through balls to use the pace of Schlupp and Beckford. The game was at a really quick pace, and there were a few overhit passes cos of that - but it was an excellent run out. Second half, Vardy played down the centre with Nuge on the right with Gallagher.
