So last time out in the league, I managed the correct score and two of the correct scorers... presure's on this time! Heart: Saints building another run of wins and Burnley haven't hit their stride yet so I'll go for another win but I definitely think Burnley will look dagerous on the attack so 4-2 Saints (goals from Lallana (x2), Cork and Lambert) Head: Turf Moor is always a tough stadium to go to and I really rate both Austin and Rodriguez so I'll go for a lively 2-2 draw with both teams looking like scoring right to the end. (Connolly (x2))
Team News: Burnley: Grant; Trippier, Edgar, Amougou, Easton; Stanislas, Bartley, McCann, Wallace; Austin, Rodriguez. Subs: Stewart, Mee, Marney, McDonald, Hines. Saints: Davis; Richardson, Fonte, Hooiveld, Fox; Do Prado, Hammond, Cork, Lallana; Connolly, Lambert. Subs: Bialkowski, Martin, Schneiderlin, Chaplow, De Ridder.
Me too Lambo for some reason - I hope I'm wrong, but if we can get 4 Points from the next two I'll be impressed. I just feel the old Saints would screw this up....time to see if the new Saints are here to stay!
Oh stop it..! I know both traditionally wear claret & blue, but did I just hear Adam Blackmore refer to Burnley as West Ham, while announcing their line up..?
Ten minutes in and we aren't winning? Must be about time to start panicking that we've lost our form.
Running a bath and getting my toaster ready as we speak. Pretty clear that we're heading for relegation now. Possibly straight down to League 2.
Fox sounds as if he's having a bit of a 'mare. Maybe the crowd constantly booing him is affecting him. Saints giving the ball away a lot, by the sound of it.
Yeah doesn't really sound like we've got going to be honest, but the upside of that is we aren't behind, I trust Nigel in his half time team talk
Encouraging that we go in at 0-0 considering it doesn't sound like we've been at our best, the good thing with this saints team is you have the faith that they'll come out in the 2nd half and do the business.
Five out of the nine games in the Championship have hit the half scoreless. Leeds and Brighton must've used up all the goals.
