My main concern is will SG bring back Lees or stay as we were at the back with OB and Kissa. Hopefully he'll bring back Lees.

Lees back and the break would have probably done a few players good, we haven't the largest of squads and another 14 days nearer to Lonergan regaining fitness

McCormack might have been revitalised by the break as well, so hopefully he'll be knockin em in for fun again. Since he stopped scoring, so has Ricky Lambert! How peculiar

Interesting that Lambert has also stopped scoring. Just goes to show, all strikers go through dry patches.

Interesting dilema on who plays CB. I have a sneaking suspician SG will keep AOB & Kisnorbo as the pairing. They did well against Leicester. This is a game we should expect to win & win well. Not sure they have the strongest attack. So keeping the same pairing makes some sense.

i actually think that SG may even go with

    Lees - Kissa - O'Brien - White

as the back line but i'd much prefer the one i said earlier in the thread

Interesting idea Josh. But I think I prefer Lees as a CB with Connolly being the natural RB. It also seems to help Snoddy. We'll see. Really don't care who plays as long as we win.

Newcastle have fielded the same back five for all 11 PL games this season & no side in the country has conceded fewer goals,we should just leave the defence as it is- consistency is the key.
    1-0 Leeds win.

Until lonergan got injured, the defence was getting some consistency. That was a big disruption because he helped organise. I would say that mcarthy deserves a shot at organising o'dea and lees. Would stick with pugh on the left because white needs his help. We still conceed most of our goals from attacks on our left flank.

Wouldnt have put him with kissa. There is another goal conceded from our left. Way too easy

Fecking woeful first half by Leeds, we look uninterested and there is no way we will even get a draw from this game, unless there's a 100% more effort. Keogh needs to either get involved or come off. O'Dea (**** off and get a job at something you can actually do) and Kisnorbo, poor, third rate and slow.
