Not sure how to classify that first half. It was comfortable but at the same time not. So far so good but a 2nd goal will be needed.
Been very impressed with how we're handling this game. Good pressure on Burnley when we haven't got the ball and nice quick and incisive passing when we do have it. One or two Burnely players are a tackle away from a yellow card in my opinion for the persistent fouling, especially on Ozil and Sanchez
Welbeck on - Giroud off. Not sure about that - would have taken Ramsey off and offered more pace on the flanks
****ing cracking result. Classic 0-1 to the Arsenal and a lot of credit to the lads for digging in and carving out that result
we dug in well, but our ball control/passing and some of our movement was pretty poor - still a win is a win, and helps solidify our position in 2nd, and keeps a tiny bit of pressure on Chelsea
Not trying to imply anything but last time Arsenal won at Burnley in the League was in 1970. We went on to do the double, beating Liverpool in the FA Cup final.
Good 3 points, other than a couple of half chances they didn't create anything of note and we had opportunities to score the second but didn't go over the top committing men forward. Ozil, Cazorla and Sanchez I thought did well against a resolute defense. But it was Coquelin and Monreal running the show for me.
Another win notched up, 12 points ahead of those ****ers down the road, which is just brilliant. 8 wins in a row, top stuff from Wenger and co, I slate him when he **** things up, so have to also give him huge credit when his team goes on a run like this. Top stuff.
