Well, I thought it might be like the St Valentine's day massacare.

That's it. We would have accepted that result before the game, but feel as though we lost it.

 

So close to the win .

Would have taken a point but very frustrating to let it slip late on .

 

At least we seemed to have a bit more steel in the performance.

I hate our wimpy side sometimes, so that is a plus.

Two new defenders seem so far an upgrade too. Which is unreal considering the investment in that area previous seasons.

I don't know what to think about Pedro being subbed off for Kabasele. Not that Kabs did anything wrong, but taking a midfield/attacking threat off really allowed Burnley to pile the pressure on. It just seems to me like a silly thing to do.

MoM was Porteous for me - rock solid at the back.

 

I know what you mean, but maybe Bilic thought he was running out of steam, and he's also just back from the crocked list too.

 

Surely that has to take the pressure off Bilic.

 

Was it me or should Sarr have been subbed, he seems to lack pace, skill and application, never seen him so poor

Their goal came from Martens looking for a free kick instead of accelerating away from a tired defender

 

I guess our goal did come from their keeper messing up and Bachmann had to make some good saves so maybe they were due a goal but annoying as we had everyone back.

All got attracted to the ball .

 

Sarr needs some anti wimp injection this season. He's not really been at the races.

 

I see no reason to get rid of Bilic, he is doing a good steady job and the team is developing.
