A reminder of a previous game with Burnley

You might see a younger me in the Penistone Road end. I’ve got a black and white scarf on.

Good that Wood's out, but sad to see Merino also missing.
We've got a reasonable chance if we can take a chance or two that should come our way.
    I'd take a draw.

Initial reaction to that line up is we're getting beaten tonight, and it'll be a **** couple of hours. Diame, Saivet, Perez shouldn't be near a PL first eleven.

In Rafa we trust, though, right? RIGHT?!

If Mitrovic isn't injured then something's afoot. Maybe not training well, bad attitude/focus, incident behind the scenes or fell out with the manager. He's surely served his time for getting banned and Gayle's form has been utter horse **** so he should be at least on the bench.

Shelvey looking sharp. Couple of nice touches by Perez. Mo is even looking like he's bothered. Burnley been closing down quickly though and pressing the ball.

The one when it dropped in front of goal he couldn't have let drop any more so I don't blame him for anything.

Problem I can see here is that we have nothing to change it with. No Merino for extra class and they won't give a hoot if Gayle comes on. The'll deal with him all day long. Mitro would of at least given them a hard time later in the game.

The lack of end product is just incredible.

Joselu is an absolute fcking donkey. No awareness, lack of touch, no pace, not good positioning, lack of first touch. My apologies to Sibierski for comparing the two. I'm going to sue Rafa for racism if he keeps picking him over Mitrovic; at least defenders know they're in for a time with Mitro, surely?

I understand Rafa's theory; Joselu and Mitro are like for like, he likes to have different options on the bench. But Joselu is dogshit and seems to be getting worse each week. It's a crying shame because we're desperate for a decent striker to step forward.

No change at half time, I imagine. Possibly Gayle for Joselu. We desperately need the 20-goal Gayle to step up at some point, he's been worthless so far.

Atsu's a real shame, he's got everything, except he always, without fail, makes the wrong choice when he has to.

Diame deserves respect man he's put in a proper ****ing shift. Hopefully Lascelles actually knocks him out next time and he'll be like Viera. The silly runs have been reduced!
Perez looks like he could make sumat happen tonight if he gets space behind the lines. But Josse, Christ mate. If he hadn't been starved of good service and Gayle wasnt currently lost at sea, I'd be demanding a sub. Everything's coming up Milhouse so far for the whole defence and Shelves. **** being off his line, Elliot knows what he's doing.
Atsu is at least making something happen and, as Burnley are tactically strangling Ritchie, gotta admit Murphy hasn't looked self-assure enough to take LW yet. Something to build on for second half, swear we generally look ****e in the first anyways, but if Yedders could cross we'd be 2 up!

Decent effort from Perez. The crossing has been poor though and we are sorely lacking quality in the final third.
