    Not disputing he gets gung-ho or has blood rushes or gets carried away with himself but on last nights game I can't agree with your point. I'm sure against Chelsea he will be more cautious especially with players like Costa, Fabregas and Hazard about.

    Looked well over 2000 for a Tuesday night, sounded loud most of the time. Sold 5k tickets for tottenham. Not bad at all imo.

    Said it before and I'll say it again - you lot and us are the 2 best supported clubs in the country. Comfortably IMO. No success for over 40 years for either club yet both get decent crowds over 40k and constantly sell out away sections no matter which extremity we have to travel to.

    I don't know the stats for your lot but the following is a fact, or at least factoid, regarding toon support:

    More people watched Newcastle get relegated than have watched any other relegated team in Europe post war.

    More people watched Newcastle get promoted than have watched any other promoted team in Europe post war.

    A stat to be proud of.
