Actually I was pointing out the flaw in this idiots logic. Every time you hear any suggestion of our glorious past, we get slated into the ground with "living in the past" rubbish from tin pot clubs that have never really made a mark on football, yet suddenly one of your fans is trying to use the same argument about 10 years ago when you won a cup noone cares about, when at the same time we were one of the best teams in England and one of the better teams in Europe. I was calling hypocracy on your fans, who have a habit of using a "we'll twist the facts in every argument to make us sound better" strategy.
The fact that they sold their best two players in the last 30 years to United makes it even better Oh and that was Ferdinand and Cantona, just to be clear
Who are you to determine what 'means' we have Above our means would be borrowing the money, not the owner spending it on us. These aren't credit or loans.
And what happens when he gets bored of your club and decides to sell up and pull out? What makes you think he's not going to attempt to minimise his losses against the club, since the purchase and running of your club is, in essence, a marketing scheme?
So why is it wrong and "living in the past" for us to argue about our past glories, but as soon as you do it its ok? Just because the most successful period in your clubs entire history wasn't quite as long ago but since then you still end up in the same league as the club that had the biggest financial implosion in the history of English football?
Face it, our owners are loaded, they are Leicester fans, the first game Top saw was League cup final against 'Boro They are hear to stay They are determined to succeed
You were the one who mentioned having 'never heard of Leicester'. You were asking for that reply, it didn't just come out of the blue. Oh Marko you just can't resist tying yourself in knots can you
Because he's using your football club to market King Power in the far east. If your club fails to deliver on the promise of success it will eventually become a hemorrhage and a waste of time and more importantly money. After all, if in 5 years time you still haven't managed to get out of the Championship due to whatever reason, or even managed to get out and came back down, why would Thai football fans be interested in your club any more? They wouldn't, with Barcelona and the scum and Real Madrid as more attractive options for supporting. Then King Power isn't getting the income from advertising from your club because noone is watching anymore. I don't think I can explain it any more simply than that.
I never said it was wrong to live in the past. Pointless to a large extent though. But tbh I don't know where that reply came from, I was referencing the fact you haven't won a trophy in a while despite you bragging about semi finals and 6th place finishes. Everytime you come on here you end up winding yourself up
Do you come here looking to start arguments? I find you here being wound up by fans of Leicester on our board when you could be peacefully spending your time worrying about a huge game you have tomorrow. Makes me wonder why you bother. I certainly wouldn't continue to post if I was being wummed on another teams board
My point still stood though, we were busy in the Champion's League while you were enjoying the most successful period of your clubs history, finishing mid table and winning the odd league cup.
Oh well done thicko, not like we're trying to argue that we know from ****ing experience that it doesn't work.
He is using our football club to attract interest from Europe to the far east you tw*t! They want to advertise their company and Thailand.
