To be fair to Farke, he had all the exits to deal with at the beginning of last season and still got 90 points.

This year had to deal with selling his best two players and Archie Gray. Made records with incoming money in transfers and still has a better team this year than last.

    He's doing a decent job.

According to Transfermarket Farke has brought in £196 million in transfer fees since he took over and spent £67 million. That's £129 million profit.

That doesn't include loans which had a huge impact in his first season when all the rats deserted at the start of last year causing alot of dropped points initially yet still went on to get 90 points.

More impressive than the profit is that he has built the best squad in the Championship for two seasons in a row despite losing his best players every summer and having to cut costs.

He got off to a great start handling the loans, I admit that. We were in the autos then he threw it all away, our downfall was the back end of the season when the squad was settled not the beginning. You’re figures reflect how poor he actually did, season one he had four players worth £120m and still failed.

Look at his mistakes still season one, search the forum, even your own frustration that Archie is no RB and buy a left footed LB. Stop squeezing Piroe in at 10 he isn’t one. We’d have possibly missed out on the playoffs if it wasn’t for Summerville and his individual performance that Farke relied on.

Put your 11 best players in, it doesn’t matter if they’re out of position, just do it and hope someone does something special, that’s what it looked like, we never played as a team.

This season, do you believe Tanaka and Rothwell would have got a look in if it were not for injuries. He’s not a terrible coach, he’s not even a bad one, just average with a great squad.

All I’m saying is we should be top, we should go up as champions, based on the fact we have a better starting 11 and a subs bench still better than anyone else in this division

Agree 100% and if he gets us promoted at some point he should walk away from the job and keep his reputation intact. I’m sure big blubber Sam will be waiting in the wings to take another 1m a game off us for his expert advice

Summerville was a one trick pony and got found out. The fancy boy who went to brighton could not score in a brothel. Farke did not let us down it was the players. The money we got with the sales was brilliant and a first for leeds for many seasons. Those who failwd in the run in were to blame they blew it.

I might argue that they weren't worth that money until they played under Farke. He made them that value.

Those who think Farke is a great manager are the same ones who think Meslier should be dropped. And yet the ‘great manager’ keeps picking him.

    Square that circle.

    I think Meslier needs replacing.

I don't think Farke is a 'great' manager. He's about as good as we could get at this moment. I don't think Scott Parker or Chris Wilder are better. I stick up for Farke as it seems to be a trend to say he is ****e. Those who think he is ****e just need a gentle reminder of the stuff he's had to deal with in his 18 months here. The clubs recruitment has been top notch with the likes of Gruev, Tanaka, Byram all credited to Farke himself.

Throw in the rise of Summerville and Gray from the youth and also the resurrection of Georginio. They paid for this seasons promotion push.

Yeah, there may be a Maresca or a McKenna out there who could do marginally better in hindsight but there are hundreds out there who would have ****ed our situation up royally.

I don't hate Farke, I think Championship is his level, he does seem to be a good man manager of the players.

Just as in previous managers and coaches, if you want to bash them, the transfers that are good will be down to the director of football, if you love the coach it is his find, none of us will ever know how it really works, if coaches are offered a choice from a handful of options.

What I will say is that the director of football or the one in charge of transfers did an excellent job on the fees we received for those sold and the fees paid out for the incoming

I don’t disagree with you on this point regarding Farke. The guy who is Chairman at the Con Club is a Norwich season ticket holder and he is constantly telling me that DF will get us promoted but won’t be good enough to keep us in the prem.

I love the fact that some people think that Manager's have like a 'ranking'... 'ooh he's good enough to top the championship but not good enough for the prem'. It's hysterical. This is not a comment on whether Farke is a good or bad manager, but i'm fairly confident he wouldn't get Liverpool relegated or plymouth promoted.

Norwich decided to not spend when they got promoted - presumably so they could ride the parachute payments on their way back down, second time they spent a bit more i think but also sold their best player.

Farke has a terrible record in the PL, no doubting that, and plenty of mediocre playing squads have survived - so Managers like Frank, who adapted Brentford's football with a limited squad have clearly done way better than Farke did sticking to his principles.

Those who think we have the best team in the league also think we have no goalkeeper no striker no no. 10, no left back.

The best team in the league is only revealed at the end of the season so whoever thinks we have the best team is jumping the gun.
