I don’t think I would. I’d go with the same XI and if Seri was fit, have him on the bench for this game. I don’t know how Kompany has them playing but Burnley are a very physical side and I think Alfie Jones did well in midfield and Slater and Tufan had good games also.

i'm afraid you've missed a vital related point.

after losing their first three league games of the 1920-21 season, burnley set off on an unbeaten run and by mid-february the run had lasted 24 league games and two fa cup games.

then they had to visit second division hull city in the fa cup.

hull city won 3-0.

burnley were undefeated for six more league games.

burnley won the league that season, despite failing to win in their final seven games.

hull city finished 13th in the second.

so the only defeat during that record-setting run was against us.
