Almost as if he just couldn't wait to trot it out <doh>

I hate to dig people out but, ffs, how absolutely predictable.

This isn't the best side in the world but it's our side and the only one we've got.

It's all very 'Football Manager' spelling out which positions we should improve but this is real life ...

... just like all those people setting off home from Burnley having sung their hearts out for the lads.

I think mayenda came on with a point to prove , you can’t drop me too the bench .
This is what you want from your bench . I’m here and should be playing . This is where the team is strong everyone is pushing for game time

Probably the best penalty taker I've seen for Sunderland was Martin Scott, hardly missed. Maybe O'Nien could take them from now on. He would ignore all the **** housery from the keepers

Same boat mate. Dry Jan has ended for me tonight, just trying to explain to the mrs that I need to stay up a bit longer after that rollercoaster

That would have been hilarious! Biggest reason I'm gutted he missed the two pens is he didn't get to shove the keepers antics up his arse!

The gloves was a ****ing joke and should have been a yellow. Then be doesn't go down for the second!

    I LOVE THIS TEAM

Honestly so proud tonight, we played our game, didn't go hiding and went for the win

Should have been 3 points but a point against a promotion contender away from home is still very good

Tough away games coning up but should be aiming for 4 points from Derby and Plymouth - then go for it against Boro

    Enjoy your weekend Fellas

Think the two real moments of quality from us tonight were from Le Fee and Mayenda. Le Fee for the Isidor chance where he hit the post, the turn and pass are elite level. Mayenda with a great bit of play to put Wilson through to win the first penalty, very similar to the pass for the goal against Pompey.

Absolutely. I just feel a really good poacher/finisher would help us massively. We have lots of legs in the team. Just need to have that sniff in front of goal. The stats been presented so far don't actually show that at all and that's why they are half the battle.

Just my opinion but we don't need anymore fluid wingers. We have W atson, Roberts, AA, Mundle, Mayenda. As the proper striker we have Wilson. We need support there.

We’ve taken 4 points off a team in the premiership last year and with seriously more financial power than us

in this league if you get promoted you take points of those teams. We’ve beat Sheffield United at home lost away is annoying, beat Burnley at home and drew away, drew with Leeds at home

so out of 15 points against the 3 above us we’ve got 8/15

His finishing is the best in the division, the data shows that. Doesn’t mean he doesn’t have a bad game

Cirkin frustrates me as he is so one footed and gets into some terrible positions. However he is a very clever player and after a rough 10 minutes he (or the bench) made changes and he was comfortable all game.

Let's be honest we can pick fault in post players, but if they didn't have faults they wouldn't be here.

It was a cracking team performance and one I think will make the rest of the league stand up and finally take notice

Same as you two ... sitting here wondering just how far these lads can go.

Can't wait for Derby, just looking at train times.

As some one else mentioned before Cirkin looked like he was in for a hard night against Anthony or whatever his name was. After about 20 mins he had him firmly in his pocket.

Class that! The confidence and professionalism to be at sea then just calmly turn it around and dominate the same player. Wow!

Because he hits a ball in the corner ? Would you call Wilson a pocher ?
