1 - Tufan 2 - Slater 3 - Tetteh I honestly thought the whole back line had an absolute shocker. Lots of slipping, hoofing the ball, not tracking runners. I think they invited far more pressure on us than necessary. Tufan, Tetteh and Oscar all look to be very quickly getting on the same wavelength already however and we're starting to look menacing going forward. Just need to create more clear cut chances, but Burnely away... Very happy with a point from that.
Tufan Slater Elder Ingram would have got a mention but for his playing the ball out. It feels like a mistake waiting to happen.
Tufan Slater Jones Plenty of contenders. Ingram doing well and is a fine keeper but needs to work on his kicking, The players off the bench all did well and played their part
I may be wrong here but I believe this may have something to do with the flack he was getting pre-season. He allegedly spilled his guts to a City "fan" about how **** things are under Shota, how the owners were destroying the club blah.. blah.. blah.. As you would to somebody you don't know, when you're in the public eye.. Personally, I think it was utter bullshit. Just some scrote stirring it, trying to cause trouble. Probably one of Big Vern's mates...
The problem was, he passed on some comments about outgoing players, which seemed pretty unlikely at the time, but then they happened, which lent a whole load of credibility to the story so most people believed it was true.
