Agree with all of this for Spurs game as well as yesterday's at QPR. Even at Liverpool, none of the goals were down to mistakes by Bunn. It also annoys me that so much of the media is saying that Taraabt missed the penalty. It was actually a well taken penalty but an even better save. This sums it up quite nicely: http://www.carrowroad.net/cnews/index.php?post=it-was-a-savenot-a-miss-you-muppets I also thought Bassong and Turner were immense throughout the game, but Garrido didn't have his best game.
Perhaps we shouldn't be too hard on him, Ware, as he's had a great season overall. I think most players have occasional dips like this. I wonder if it might be influenced by the lack of real competition from Tierney.
i have always been confident of his shot stopping being good enough, but he was not able to boss the penalty area as a top goalie should. he has definitely improved in that aspect of his game but still has a way to go to become a top keeper, which i am sure he is capable of becoming.
I may be wrong, but I'm sure Whittaker can play anywhere in the back 4 and I think he'll be in contention for a startinng place against Fulham!!!!
Have to say, I don't think it's a coincidence Bunn has stepped it up since Camp came in to be honest. I don't think Bunn was bad before but with real competition and arguably a more experienced goalkeeper behind him it seems to have improved his performances rather than a young keeper. It makes me think Camp is a good signing, free who has improved a stand in keeper. Don't get me wrong though, he wasn't as bad as some people made out, but he has just improved these last two games since Camp's arrival.
I was disappointed with Townsend given his reputation. Although he played well and looked very comfortable on the ball, I was expecting to see the next Aguero
Bit worried about bassong myself, he is obviously a key player for us, but starting to see quite a few errors from him, specially against qpr. It's a trait superman has mentioned previously that he seems to have lapses in concentration and puts the other defenders under pressure needlessly
I agree. I think that Bassong has generally been excellent but he does suffer from poor distribution and lapses in concentraction. Bunn has had a couple of good games although he should never have put himself in a position to give the penalty away. Shocking back pass did him no favours though.
that was also our 7th EPL clean sheet of the season, and Bunns second ever in the league. he is definitely proving why CH purchased him.
