Such awful remarks... and all mostly becuase they are fed up with giving us 6 points most seasons :cheesy:

The "booing" as you call it didn't happen during the game (the players had the full backing of the crowd), all it was, was some banter after the game (and it was a small minority) and a banner.

Out of curiosity, would you not be averse to a united british team instead of plain old England then should FIFA pounce on the GB thing in the Olympics?

It would see an end to ALL 4 home nations indipendance, not just us Welsh.

I personally don't think it will happen anyhow and I have no problem with team GB in teh Olympics but ONLY in the Olympics. I certainly don't want to have to root and cheer for the likes of John Terry and Wayne Rooney at any point....

I've looked at this question several times and it's still baffling me!

Could you structure it in English please?

I would be interested to see what we could put together from the home nations because despite all the banter I am personally proud to be British. But it would have to be full on and fully committed in order to be a worthwhile exercise.

However, I don't trust FIFA despite their promises and can understand why the other home nations aren't keen.

The thing is the Olympics is not FIFA or uefa governed event, so it will have no say in it at all should we compete as teamGB , which means that in the wider scheme of things nothing will change. I want welsh players in the Olympics as like other welsh athletes they represent our country , and deserve to be there.

It'll set a precedent and Blatter will seize his chance and there'll be no going back, far too risky in my book.

Does anyone (without googling it) actually know who won the football at the last Olympics? cos I aint got a scooby.

It's not up to the FAW if individual players want to play in the Olympics, they as a federation may not agree to it, but it's got sod all to do with them if for example Bale makes himself available. As I said its not a FIFA tournament so they can't govern there.

Also there is no risk involved as FIFA have said that it will have no bearing on the federations right to exist.

I gotta be honest, looking at the way England play football, and the way the Welsh have been playing lately, its not gonna be long until we will want to be hooking up with the Welsh.

Our football is terrible at the moment, we wont do very well at the Euros next year.

Welsh football is on the up, English football is on the down.

And no i am not Welsh, nor would i want to be.

The only clubs with anything to gain from this are Celtic and Rangers - therefore will never happen
