Thats why the money would have to be too good to turn down.

Koke of Atletico Madrids a name being chucked about. Our scouts watched vidals last game as well.

Right now I would concentrate on the midfield. Sort that out and other areas will improve anyway.

The guy is a beast. Standout best player in the league for me.

Oh by the way do you still wish your moniker to be captain Christmas?

Atletico Mardid have to clear a 50million euro tax bill this summer. If Moyes is smart enough he will put a bid in for Koke.

The guys a Spanish international, one of the best players at the side currently topping La Liga and plays for a club who have no qualms about selling their best players. Hes also 21 and his value will only rise.

Do you really think a left back and an inexperienced player like Lallana is going to improve United that much? We've seen how Fellaini has coped with the pressure of moving up. Sneijder maybe, but like Eto'o, has been playing in a pretty weak league and has shown nowhere near his top level for a couple of years now. They may improve your squad but your squad isn't the problem, it the averageness of a lot of your first teamers like Cleverly.

    He does sound a prospect.

They have a very real chance of CL success this year though, will they sell in winter? Come summer I'm sure they'd sell, as has been proven before with De Gea and Falcao etc.

Our squad very definitely is the problem.

When the likes of Carrick and RVP are out we don't have quality to replace them, which is our massive problem and is all down to a weak squad.

Same at left back, same at right back. It means our two potential best centre halves are covering in midfield and at right back, our squad is not that great at all.

I wouldnt mind us buyin him and letting madrid loan him til the end of the season. At least that way we know theres light at the end of the tunnel.

However I think if enough money was shown to them and it gave them the prospect of clearing their tax bill, they would sell reluctantly.

I think lallana looks a player. I've seen him a few times and has impressed me.

I see buying him as no different to buying Rooney was, as is English young and looks to have bags of talent.

When RVP is out you have Rooney, a world class replacement. Even past him is Welbeck and Hernandez, proven P.L players and internationals. Carrick granted but Lellana is not going to solve that over night. This is the squad that walked the league last year. Difference is you have an average manager now rather than a world class one. If you want to make up the difference, you need more world class players starting every week; not another load of good but unspectacular ones. However good Baines is, he isn't going to turn you around from left back.

Rooney was pretty much a one off. Brilliant talent for someone so young. No-one else comes close atm baring maybe and I mean maybe, Wilshire.

wow that was quick.sky sports reveal Moyes told United transfer funds available.
i dont want to be a pessimist but,,,,,does this smell like united are trying to make moyes the scapegoat here.why would they all of a sudden tell sky sports they will make money available, immidiatley after dm as made his point clear in the morning papers?
can they not communicate via office phone, although no sources where named on the ss website.it smells fishy to me.

this does not augur well for the transfer window. It seems we have here a bunch of amateurs who have no idea how to proceed.

And it also seems we need to get newly rich people who used to shop at Primark and car boot sales to adjust themselves to ****ing Harrods !

    Doesn't seem fishy to me.

Both Moyes and the club have always insisted that money is there if need be.

Moyes isn't saying we can't afford players but he's saying the players he wants may not be available.

In terms of what both Moyes and the Club have stated this is hardly news so I'm not sure why Sky are reporting it ?

i understand what your saying but.when he says the players he wants might not be available, surely they dont wait for the transfer window to open before asking questions on players availability?perhaps thats the reason we didnt get anyone till the last day of the summer transfer window.we will find out sooner than later that they have attempted to buy someone.because if someone else is interested they will make a point that united are after them?

    Money was always there.

The issue is moyes and Woodward would rather buy a Fellaini than a footballer.

Also why does moyes get support off some United fans but Fellaini has been completely dismissed as ****e?

Because when teams like Chelsea, City and Liverpool were going through managers, many a United fan (rightly so) lorded over us with their same manager for 300 years thing. Now for the first time in the P.L era, you are having to adjust to a new manager, by wanting him sacked would be admitting Fergie was a one off and you're just like the rest of us!!
